Strong Bodies

Tues & Thurs, 8:30 am - 9:30 am

Strong Bodies is a strength training program specifically designed for women and men ages 50+ with simple-to-follow and adaptable exercises to build the muscles that get you happily and healthfully through your day for decades to come. An excellent addition to your cardio exercise regimen, the hour-long classes use hand weights, leg weights and a chair. No loud music, no getting down on the floor!

  • We have weights or you can bring and store your own; bring a towel to use as a prop.

  • New exerciser? Been out for a while? Looking for an effective routine? Looking for strength building that’s simple and social? Strong Bodies is for you!

Lauren Cnare

Executive Director at Three Gaits Therapeutic Horsemanship Center in Stoughton 

A refugee from Pewaukee, WI, Lauren is a lifelong runner and believes that “fitness goals and routines should change with age. It’s important to tailor our activities to be strong life long.” She was trained and certified by UW Extension to teach the “Strong Bodies “ program and has taught since 2015. She is grateful that Wil-Mar Center gave her a chance to start her fitness teaching role.
