Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center

We’re an inclusive neighborhood center providing diverse programming for our community and all those in need since 1968.

Our Mission:

The Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center is a community-directed, non-profit organization based in the Williamson-Marquette neighborhood concentrating on:

  • Enhancing the quality of life by fostering community building and partnerships;

  • Supporting life-enriching programs; and

  • Providing opportunities and services.

Our Values:

Authenticity: We work in service to others while being true to who we are, and we encourage people to be genuine in their interactions.

Community: We form relationships and offer people a sense of place that reflects common attitudes and diverse interests.

Creativity: We embrace new ways of thinking and alternate ideas for solving problems, communicating with people, and getting things done.

Operating Principles:

We create a safe and welcoming environment.

  • We engage people as neighbors.

  • We help our neighbors as best we can.

  • We hold ourselves to high standards.

  • We uphold quality programs for those we serve.

  • We believe in the power of people coming together to celebrate community.
