Yoga Babies! with little om BIG OM

Better together! Come strengthen and connect with your body while bonding with your new bundle of joy! Moms of babies 6 weeks through (approx) 6 months are welcome to explore gentle yoga that will strengthen your core, improve your flexibility and help you find relaxation. Nurture yourself and your new baby with yoga for mom, mom/baby yoga poses, infant massage for baby and a comfortable space to care for your little one and get to know other mom/baby duos in the process! All supplies and props will be provided.

Let’s welcome Spring! Youth Librarian Ms. Tracy from Hawthorn Library will lead a spring-themed storytime and rhymes, and then we’ll make paper eggs with chicks, egg shakers, and even dye eggs you can take home and hide with the rest of your family!

Perfect for toddlers and preschoolers, but all ages are welcome. A small healthy snack will be provided to help power the fun!

Creative Movement for Kids!

Little ones will gain an appreciation for music and dance while developing motor skills, coordination, and self-confidence! Class consists of rhythm and coordination-building activities, some improvisation based on the daily interests of the little ones, and plenty of dance games! Any clothing is acceptable, except jeans. Shoes, slippers and socks are all appropriate footwear. A dance recital on Saturday, June 17th will provide an opportunity to share the fun with family and friends!

Beautiful Ballet for Beginners!
Thursdays, May 4th – June 15th.
Ages 5-7 years old.

Build the foundations of coordination, rhythm and balance in this beginner-friendly class. Each class will begin with fun warm-ups and skill-building movement across the floor. Games and engaging activities will keep the class interesting for the young participants, and every class will finish with a small cool-down. Any clothing is acceptable, except jeans. Shoes, slippers and socks are all appropriate footwear. A dance recital on Saturday, June 17th will allow the young ballerinas a chance to show of their moves to family and friends!
